Pea Fritters: Baby Led Weaning

Lake will sit and eat peas all day long, she just loves them. So I decided to try and make some pea fritters. They was a hit! She loves them, and so did Daddy!

These could not be easier to make, you literally just put everything in the food blender! Super quick too, about 20 minutes from start to finish!

300g of Frozen peas
2 Eggs
130g of Self Raising Flour
A small handful of Cheese

Step 1
Boil your peas for until cooked, approximately 4 minutes. Drain off the water.

Step 2
Add the peas and the remaining ingredients to the food processor and pulse until well combined. You may need to add a touch of water if you mixture is too thick.

Step 3
Fry a tablespoon at time for approximately 2 minutes each side, and set aside to cool.

This made a 8 fitters. These can be made in advance and stored in the fridge in a air tight containers. You could also freeze them, I would just wrap them individually, then you can defost and warm up as desired!

You can totally customise these too, you can add what ever you baby likes. Onions, bacon, ham, different cheeses. I'm definitely going to play about with some different variations.
